Before starting kindergarten, Jennifer had a thirst for reading and writing. The love of reading and writing continued as she turned her passion into a career as a sports reporter at a local paper. When the newspaper closed its door, Jennifer returned to school to become a registered dental hygienist. While she loved straightening kids’ teeth, she discovered her true passion during an internship with Entangled Publishing. It was there she was first introduced to the publishing world and found her true calling to help authors achieve their dreams. She worked as a freelance production editor at Lyrical Press for five years, and started her own editorial business called Fresh Look Editorial to help independent authors.
Jennifer attended Conestoga College for Radio and Television Broadcasting and the University of Waterloo for courses in English Literature. She’s also completed editing courses at Simon Fraser University and completed her publishing certificate at Ryerson University with a designation in children’s literature.
Away from books and her laptop, Jennifer can be found playing with her three adorable but mischievous sons, watching sports with her husband, and offering editorial services through her business Fresh Look Editorial.
Jennifer loves to read all genres of romance and romantic elements, especially sports romances and romantic suspense. She reads almost anything except horror and erotica. Her favorite books of all-time are I’ll Love Your Forever by Robert Munsch, Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.
